I check/call to induce a bluff from busted draws

Why did you fold his raise? He could easily have just big ace and it was 8,25BB - you're ahead more than 12% I think...

I'd play b/c river because he is not loose postflop (only 34% WTS) so it's possible he will check-behind everything except A.

i folded because every A has me beat (the board is paired)

oh, I didn't realize.. ok then :)


I don't like bet/fold here very much as every worse hand will fold. All better will call or raise and the chance being still best are low.
Chck/fold seems a bit to weak (just a little bit) as the ace is a pretty good scare card for him to bluff with (well if his river af is low you can fold) so check/call to get some value from K-high bluffs should be the best.
