Sorry, hab kein grab'em

Preflop: Hero im BB [ J :diamond: A :spade: ]

3 folds, BU calls, SB calls, Hero raises, 2 calls

Flop:

[ 4 :spade:, A , 8 :diamond: ]

SB checks, Hero bets, BU raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, BU caps, Hero calls

Turn:

[ 9  ]

Hero bets, BU raises, Hero???

diese Hand hat mich sehr verunsichert, hätte ich schon am Flop nicht 3-betten sollen gegen seinen raise auf diesem board? Turn bet vertretbar?

Hmm you know that this is the english forum? ;)

Anyway.. the flop 3-bet is ok but don't donk the turn and just calldown to his cap instead.

thanx, i actually did forget about the english forum... just one more question: after his cap at the flop what kind of handrange would you have given him? aren't there too many possible hands that beat mine for a calldown? thx

That's true but you can't fold in this situation because the pot is already very big and even if you are behind you have a chance to draw him out.

He might cap AT here as well. We have 3+ outs vs A8 and 6+ outs vs A4 and 5+ vs 84.

He might as well have a set but also just air.

With reads that he isn't too aggreisse you can calldown just after he raised you on the flop but vs unknown or agressiuve players you have to 3-bet to prevent them from getting a freecard at the turn.
