Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls

Opponent: Maniac 59/40/12 Agg% 57

He might have FD on this Flop or a Overpair.
How do you like my Turn Cap? River was Ok i guess _confused:

Good versus maniacs (only :)). Borderline versus extreme aggro, and spewy versus nits. (A nit doesn't have 33 preflop or overpair after turn 3-bet. A nit has 88 because nits don't 3-bet draws on the flop.)

Against a maniac i think your play is fine. Normally he should not 3bet the turn with any 1pair hand except maybe AA KK with :diamond: but you're too likely to checkraise with a set or with a madeflush that hesn not supposed to be having just a 1pair hand. Sometimes he might have the flush but i expect him to 3bet too many single pairs so capping the Turn is fine but after he raised again on the River, i wouldnt have dared to 3bet once more but the funny thing is that you overplayed the recent hands massively but here your hand is way stronger and the opponent would even be suitable to justify 3betting but in that hand you slowed down on the River. Its fine you played that hand as you played it but just relative to the other hands, you became a nit.
