again with the donking .. Its a bad play most of the times.

in this case you have 2 options. you can call the flop when he bets, or you can check raise him with your A high fd .. turn and river is obvious bets.

Hi!

C/calldown is the play here,by raising your hand you have 0 FE but may quite likely encounter further action. By calling down on nice cards(non K,Q and prolly J) you still beat planty of hands like KQ,KJ,KT,QJ,QT,JT,...

You really think he should call on turn when he gets the ace? Theres no way that fish of a villian is ahead unless he plays 8x or a better Ax like that. and The 8x is impossible now that he just calls flop and turn.(if we say hero didnt donk bet) Ax sure if he is a passive motherfucker but that gives us even more reason to raise since we get a larger pot with zero resistance in terms of 3bets.(flop play)

Sure he is UTG and have or should have a tighter range. But A5s is really too strong a hand still to just go cd mode after the turn.

and are we really looking for FE when we raise our nut fd here. I sure as hell aint when I have a flush draw on a paired board.

c/calldown is meant for the flop obviously.

Why I think its better to c/c this one...
1.his range is UTG therefore pretty strong therefore I dont think you have equity edge vs hands you want to extract value from...
2.if you get called twice what is your river plan on blanks?... pretty hard decition imo
3.if you raise this one then I assume your c/c is fairly weak
4.this hand seems as a perfect bluffcatcher to me and also puts some FDs in your c/c range

On this turn(if you go for c/c flop) you imo have two mayor default options...either donk/calldown which may produce some lightish calldowns and deny his check back option or to just c/c...this way you will extract more from his bluffs that now have 0 equity(and he has quite a few of these still) and also loose less vs better hands which will most likely raise your donk. I rly dont like to c/r turn as default since I think you dont have the equity edge vs his turn betting range....with read that may change though.

As played....his flop call doesnt say anything...imo he does it with pretty much 100% of his hands(which is also good play)

Turn I prolly go for bet as default since I think you can get some weird light calldowns since your hand looks extremly bluffy. Also an option is to c/calldown since once you check you will induce a lot of bluffs at this point... also you equity vs hands that will legitimatly call you down from now on is not perfect.

i get it now but when you say c/calldown that kinda to me relates to call down to showdown.

Y it is c/calldown to SD...but on the flop that is.

Obviously calldown can depend on further cards but on most you intend to see SD. Cards that change matters are K,Q,J for fold, A for potential donk and :club: for c/r or donk vs some.
