Simple Call on River?

These are important (and often difficult) spots because they are so common. Some general things:

One thing you can do is to sometimes fire a second barrel on the turn, partly for thin value and partly for making the river decision easier. (Sometimes called "bet for free showdown".)

Another thing is to check back some value hands, especially if you pick up a draw on the turn. This will automatically give you hands to check-back on turn and raise on the river.

A third thing is to have a plan. Before you decide on the turn, know what to do on most rivers.

Four: Notes. Some players automatically bet 100% on the river if the turn goes check-check. Others will pay off with little equity on the turn.

Lets talk about second hand first since its easier. In this case bet is clear and its a valuebet. CO will call this flop ultra wide(which will mostly be just two random cards). Vs such range basically any turn card is a blank and 2 is certainly one. So you bet again because u most of the time still have the best hand and want to protect it.

First hand is almost the same,his flop calling range is very wide but here turncard is somewhat worse. If you bet here you should be willing to calldown since there are so many possible draws. With AT-AK I clearly go for b/calldown(on blanks),with A4-A7 it gets harder and you can go both ways. I actually like your turn check and then call most rivers,problem with these hands is that they have much worse equity when raised but still its hard to just fold them. I would include them in my turn check back range. This range would also include Kx and some better Qx. Worse should definatelly be a bluff.

Second hand bet and check are both fine. You're ahead most of the times thats true but its better to let him the opportunity to bluff the River with his junkhand whereas its less profitable to make him fold his small amount of Equity but against a callingstation who might be keep chasing QT and a big sort of overcards, i'd be betting again. He might call again with Kx on the Turn but still he got some hands he has to fold but he may bluff the river with if you checkbehind. I think its both playable.

Second hand is a way more clear checkbehind since your kicker is weaker, the 9 is a bad card and there a a bunch of draws he might possibly be raising with and you have a tough situation so better check back and call favourable rivers. 5 is quite ok to call. JT QT QJ and some random hands aint got there. Valid!
