on the turn because CO gets aggresive too, you just call hoping you'll hit the straight on the river.

On the R you could probably call 1BB in that big pot but because of the aggresive line of CO, you can fold to2BB.

I don't think that 1 limper gives you good enough implied odds to call a medium suited connector here. This hand can easily put you into a tricky spot after the flop so I would fold it unless I have good reads/stats on the opponents.

Flop is a tough spot because you have a top pair + oesd on a 2-suited board in a family pot.

I like your donk into MP3 if you did this for isolation: you know MP3 is likely to raise so by donking you are kicking the other two players out of the hand. The question is whether your hand was good for isolation. Even if you are left HU you can be facing overcards, overpairs and flushdraws. If you do not isolate, your only hope is a non-spade card completing your straight but that's also the only type of cards that will let you jam in HU.

Trying to isolate or c/c are both fine here imho depending on the opponents.

Turn: you failed to isolate, created a monster pot, almost certainly lost your top pair. You can still be facing flush draws so considering the raising wars I would fold Turn.

it's ok to openlimp with a decent suited connector like 98. especially when you know that probably the players behind you are likely to be calling along. 9♣8♣ is a good hand to win big multiway pots with straights and flushes. on the flop it was fine to donk into mp3 since he could be checking with Ax on this board and he's very likely to check as he did entirely miss and many hands have a good portion of equity there. 3bet for value with pair and oesd is fine as well. Getting around 1:8 is enough to coldcall. no way to get out there and coldcall once means that you are committed to call once more. you played it well. on the river easy fold obviously.
