Hi,

Villain unknown.

Flop and turn no problem call, was thinking about raising but it doesn't achieve anything.

River, well its a brick and I think I have to call even if I suspect the flop donk must be a strong hand????

Well played! Raising doesnt achieve a lot since he's certainly not going to fold any pair and you may face a 3bet though he should be scared about the trips you may have so just calling down is fine. I'd rather raise on J or Q on the Turn with additional gutshot-outs but though your EQ due to your outs is just 25% and if no better hand is folding you're basically better of by just calling. it looks as if he should have any kind of a madehand. but on the micro on lowstakes i've often enough seen people donking out with KQ KJ or AJ AQ, for which reason ever but they do it so with no read on your opponent it's a simple calldown. :)

Think about why you would raise here:

Equity?

Nope you're certainly not raising for value

Bluff?

Nope, you have 0 fold equity vs any better hand

Top/Bottom of your range

Nope, you have overpairs and sets at the top and SC's and other garbage at the bottom

So raising here with the NFD makes absolutely no sense, in fact raising the NFD on the lop in most HU cases doesn't make any sense.

Also what's your plan for Turn/River? If you bet turn and get x/raised now what?

The only reason to even consider raising is for a cheap showdown but even then you're saving 1/2 a bet at most, not allowing your opponent to bluff if he is bluffing and potentially wrecking your own implied odds.
