I raised from mp holding: AhQc and SB called,who was otherwise solid player,during my session observation.

flop: 4d,5d,9d. he c/r me,i called,that could be a flush(rarely) fd,a pair and i have overcards.

turn: 10c he check...i? i decided to check behind.

river:Qh problems started here. he checked, and i instantly bet,which was probably a mistake. small pairs probably folds,fd didnt complete,and i could get raised with a completed flush from flop,which happened,he showed QdJd.

bet/call way too optimistic?

It's far away from too optimistich. It would be way too pessimistic to think "oh he will checkraise me" You have TPTK and he has shown weakness on the Turn and River. He checked twice so he got either nothing or a weak pair. Which hand he could be seriously checkraising there. The Q is scary and he could just checkraise Q9 or something but he would have bet Q9 and he's got to be afraid of KJ etc. That's not a good checkraise Spot for him so he's almost always on c/c or c/f and it's ok to worry and to question situations but with TPTK after somebody checked twice it's just a nobrainer bet/call.
