Preflop: Hero is BB with 86o.
MP3 raises, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero calls.
I estimated using Equilab, that I have 23% equity. If to assume that MP3 will cbet almost 100% I have 30 to 225 odds (0,13). So if need only 13% equity I should call any trash in that situation. I know that many good players fold trash hands in that spot. My question is whether I played correctly or not, if not then why ?

You cannot apply equity to calling with such hands. Equity tells you how often you are going to be good in SD but obviously you will be folding too many flops to make it happen with the very weak part of your range+there is reversed implied odds that come into play.
When calling you should looks for how well your hand plays and who are your oponents.Worse they are wider you can defend and tighter they are less you should defend.
As standard I take my normal defending range against the raiser and add/remove certain hands depending on the situation. I usually add a lot(sometimes up to 100%) suited hands or connectors but remove more trashy dominated hands.
Sure this is just talking out of thin air but its very hard to just put out a chart for these spots as they vary too much from situation to another. In your case I close to always call as hand will play good enough most of the time.
I understand that I will be folding a lot right on flop.
But there are situations when some winning players called call from sb some hands like QJs when they have equity 3way close to 33% and they don't have initiative either(although they have great implied odds ).
In our case we have so much more equity then we really need (unless I am mistaken, because we do have reverse implied odds).
So I think if players who called call from sb are correct then it could be correct to called call 32o from bb in that spot I described.

I cannot see how equity can applie here. It basically the same thing when you have 5 high on the flop and oponent bets giving you 1:7. In your case you say you need 14% equity to call but that is obviously not the case since you are not planning to showdown 5high when ui(in truth you need cca 28% and some SD value! to do it)
Yes, I would say that reverse implied odds play the biggest role in determining whether hand is playable or not. QJs plays so much better than 72o,K2o,32o...
And also if you think players make errors in their postflop game that changes things further as you can now turn these slightly -ev calls into +ev plays postflop
as dawnfall mentioned: your equity determines that you'll see the river but most of the time you can't even realize your equity from flop - turn with a crappy hand like 86, being first to act against 2.
