Hi!

For once, I'll post hands that I'm very pleased with. Should I be pleased?

I know that you don't like having several hands in one thread, but I think that they should be evaluated in one blow. In return, I promise not to post any more this year. (If you say I played them all well, I'll extend that promise to February 2013.)

The hands are quite similar in hand strength, but the dynamics are quite different.

Edit: I did have some reads in all cases, but I think I'd have played the hands the same without them.

Hand 1)

Valuebetting is ok but as it's kind of a thin valuebet (3x improves to trips on the River) and without any read i'd rather check back. The reason is that he may have some 7x hand , he may now have trips, not many 2x hands are supposed to be in his range and what type of Ax hands he should be calling with? He may do with A4 A5 or A8 but apart from that, there are not many worse hands he should/could call but he could easily have some passively played Jx. With a read that he does not peel that loose (chance decreased he's got 7x) and he'd raise Jx on the Flop and pays off liberally, you can do this bet but with no reads , i'd rather check back

2) Yeah, it's ok. Could be some draw that has got some outs against you or he may have folded a better pocketpair but against unknown i do rather call and see what the river brings. Normally he should not fold a better hand and what if he 3bets? It's not a big mistake but i'd rather just call it down

3) Many dudes do not regularly cap AJ or AT. They usually call and just against these 2 hands you're still ahead against. But as i'd consider his range to be 99+ AQ AK etc, i would fold right away on the flop

4) It's well played. CO range is wide and he could be doing this with T9s KT and he may even bet with worse hands. Given he assumed that you'd probably Checkraise Jx and as you didn't checkraise he may put you on weak Ax and weak Pairs.
