Ok, is this play +EV when I have a decent read, or did I just get lucky once? How often does someone with a queen high/ten high flush DRAW fold here?

When can I get away from this hand? I feel like I massacred it.

Hand 1:
The "rule" is, with a one card flush draw you can continue if you draw to the nut flush or second nut flush. So, the Q would not have foldet. Heads-up maybe even the T could have stayed. Also a weaker player could have continued with any diamond.

The check-raise appears to be a bit risky. What happens if he calls. You wouldn't know whether you fight against a made hand (having two outs) or against a draw. I think I would have bet into him on the flop.

Hand 2:
It takes a saint to abondon the aces if you don't have reads on the BB. He could have had a hand like AT or KT, being very optimistic with it.
Only if you pegged him as a rock you could have easily get away from your hand.

The whole table was a bit tight preflop, but that's no reason to label a certain player as being tight, period. The only major read I had on him was that he never missed a c-bet. I believe ToP had a little blurb about c/r'ing someone who cbets 100% of the time, but I don't remember the exact context. Since the board was scary and the chances are relatively low that he has a made flush already, I decided to c/r it. Any reraise or call and I would have abandoned the hand. If he's calling a c/r, he's commited.

You know that vibe you get when your opponent is just betting into you so quickly (or so slowly) he couldn't have ANYTHING but the nuts? It was just that feeling... and obviously I wouldn't post this unless he did.

a general piece of advice from me:

Do not try to get other players to fold a hand when the board is terrible for your hand already. EV-wise it is much better to check and fold.

In addition to that (another general rule): if a betting sequence only has value when your opponent folds a better hand, it's usually a bad betting sequence. (i.e. Dont check-raise with nothng on a 852 rainbow board when an A comes on the turn just because you think he might have 99-KK and might fold 99-KK. Of course, if you have a flush draw or another very good draw, then such a check-raise does make sense because the outs add enough value to your hand.

Always bear the following in mind: in online poker up until 30/60, you get the most value from players paying you off when you have a good hand.
