How many extra outs can I give myself with that? ♠_confused:

Outs for backdoor draws are covered in the article Mathematics: Odds & Outs for Advanced Players (silver) which you can't read yet. They improve your draws a little bit. There are some subtleties, so the number of outs for backdoor draws range from 0.5 to 2 outs. In this hand your backdoor flush draw is a good backdoor draw because a lot of cards can improve it on the turn to a strong draw. The backdoor straight draw is considerably weaker because no card can help you to an open ended straight draw. On the whole the backdoor draws should account for another 2 outs. You have pot odds of 8.5:1, so you need close to 5 outs to call. Your overcards count for 3 outs at least. Add 2 outs for the backdoor draws and you are fine.

Ah okay I will relegate that to advanced and keep my focus on what I'm practicing now then.
