BB bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50 I am not sure about this call, straight draws can hit, but he can bet with flush draw too and we increase our outs because of gutshot

standard and good. as you said:
you can´t fold on the flop (especially when you have seen him donking 3rd paird before) because you are quite often still ahead and even if he as an 8 or a 7 you have enough outs to draw out on him.
turn is an interesting card. on the one hand it gives you an oesd and you can easily call again but on the other hand it improved a lot of hands out of his donking range like T9, JT, T8, T7 etc. so you should probably fold the river if you miss even if it´s a blank.
this river is of course an easy raise
