Fold or 3bet preflop. Postflop is fine. Cant see myself folding such a strong hand against unknown V.

I think similar about preflop. Suited connectors like 76s-98s is overrated so call on position too can be trouble postflop. Too seldom catch good board and sometimes dominante by better straight or flush. What should call suited Broadway connectors with mix 3bet vs open CO for example (I think about be on button).

Well, yes and no.
This hand is a cooler, you played it well. To play suited connected or not is more dependable on your overal skills: the way you construct ranges, have a good basics, understanding the player types and their tendensies. More skills and experience allows you to play more hands to earn more money. Even this hand you are more worry about the postflop, i would be more worried about squeezes from SB or BB when you overcall to much on BTN. Thats is why these hands are best candidates to 3bet preflop to make it more easier for you pre- and postflop.
So again, you do mis good expercience and knowlegde, and believe me I know I do miss it as well. So thats is why its better to play more premium hands and spots before we both get in trouble, even do Im not always following this advice

Preflop I think I prefer 3bet preflop,especially against bigger open size. Yes, I know he will not fold much but by 3betting you achieve two important things:
-you isolate fish
-you dont put dead money on table for squeeze happy regulars on blinds

I don't agree on the 3-bet bluff because 1. with a hand like 87s in position I want to see a flop and 2. a UTG raise usually won't fold vs a 3-bet and will rather 4-bet a big portion of the time. Sure he can fold and we pick up some chips, but if he 4-bets we need to fold and lose those chips with a hand we want to see a flop with. Best case he flat calls but 87s is a vulnerable hand that needs to hit well because even if we hit a pair it's very hard to put more money in the pot.
