Should i 2nd barrel on this board against this opponent. Does he has often enough overcards there too and if so can we better check or bet against this opponent since we also have a lot of overcards dominated, should he check than thats not a big problem.

Hello Yoghurt1973,

Well, if you planning to CBet the flop then there is no other way to play the hand. I mean the guy is mostly not folding to CBets. Then the only option to win against that kind of opponent and make him fold worse PPs is to 2barrel or even 3barrel.

Which means if you are 2nd barreling then I would never-ever make such a 1/2 pot size CBet and make our hand look weak.

Plus of course if the guy is rather showdown-bound then I'd just Check/Fold right on flop.
