EDIT: The below is written assuming villain is full stacked. He isn't. I'd raise turn.

You played this hand as to win a small pot. Turning this small pot (5 bb on turn) into a gigantic pot because you made a medium hand is a losing play. 88/66/22 are all there. A8s/A6s/A2s/86s are there, but are somewhat rare. Maybe he plays offsuit A+rag too, in which case you are in somewhat better shape.

I'd just call river myself as played, but don't blame anyone for sticking in a small raise, hoping that BB is fishy enough to bet-call with less than a set. My rationale is that 88/66/22 are 9 combos, while the two pair we beat are only 8 - 20 (something), and I don't see a decent player calling a raise here with A6 and the like. But you might see that.
