check behind turn to induce river bluffs

just think about, what hand worse than yours what call a bet?

induce bluff, so you can call hands that you actually beat

agree @ horror
plus you only have a marginal hand on the turn (top pair top kicker) ,so basically you dont wanna be playing such a big pot,so just check behind the turn for potcontrol and as horror said bluff induce on the river

Forum boards are intended as portals of discussion so here goes my first post.

I think that the bet on turn is fine in principle. To not bet here is to leave money on the table.

Why? The game is .04NL and typical villains will frequently call down with worse aces and less. The villain in this hand also features in some other posts and is clearly a terrible player (one example is open limping UTG+1 with 62o AND then calling a decent raise from late position).This villain could also be chasing a FD and would not call a river bet with a busted draw. In this case, the turn is the last chance for us to extract value for our likely best hand. Punish loose callers by value betting relentlessly.

I feel that 3/4pot-psb is better on the flop and on the turn 3/4 pot is fine too.

Against tight/overly aggressive players the turn check is fine.
