Hello again,

just an interesting hand....

I guess pre is quite standard, even vs potential weaker player (due to stacksize....)

flop:
well i guess i have got a range advantage vs. villains range (QQ+ would be a 4bet pre) so board doesn`t matter at all
i do not see (m)any 8x hands in his range, so i wanted to get it in....

So hopefully hand is played right?

Its actually a fold. Because the weaker player will often raise his midpairs till JJ for value. They dont understand that by raising they getting called by better hands. So its kind of pity you do give them the value for their raise πŸ˜„

Thank you for your comment.

Do you think he will just bet PP here (lets say JJ-99) ore some backdoor draws or Overcards to the board as well?
Just thinking villain is a hobby player and not a regular....

Thats is actually a reason why he would make that mistake: hobby players will intend more to protect their hands.

I mean villains range is pretty wide here including all PP, but excluding 8x. I've also seen villains shoving with OCs. But he was check raising - surely not been done with KQ.

In consequence it should be a fold, but we have 6 outs and he is short. So it's 50-50.

It is fold OTF. You will not make money on long run with this raise, expecialy vs recreation players.
