We were in a bit of a 3/4 bet battle PF before this hand. He seemed like a loose/bluff player. I knew sure enough that I had villain beat that I wanted to get it in. As the board is quite drawy - there are flushes and some gutshots, I shoved. What would your play be here?

If u have the read - and u probably have it otherwose u wouldn't write anything about the past 3/4bet baffle - that he 3bet bluffs u OTF, u need to call him!
Those type of players will call ur shove with any FD ... but the are able to fold Ax. U need to keep them Ax hands in.

In my experience the turn is almost always check behind from villian, so betting is best OTT.

I know the feeling when they hit their gutshot, thou .. (always a session ender for me)

Btw: Look at the sunny side ... u made a profit.

Well played I think. Even against a bluff 3bet on flop I wouldn't mind a shove. You want to protect your hand against draws.
