Hero (MP): $17.95 (179.5 bb) 20/17/3.5/0.0/29/47
CO: $29.68 (296.8 bb)
BTN: $4.79 (47.9 bb)
SB: $3.86 (38.6 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
UTG: $13.19 (131.9 bb) 39/7/1.3/7.7/13/47 Fold to C-Bet 40% Agg Freq 17%

Preflop: Hero is MP with K K
UTG calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.50, 4 folds, UTG calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.15) 3 4 5 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.80, UTG raises to $1.60, Hero calls $0.80

I called the raise with the intention of re assessing on the turn. If he'd bet big on the turn again then I thought I'd fold.

He could have sets/straights/straight draws in his range but I was wondering if he'd play this way with overpairs too like JJ/TT/QQ.

On second thoughts he doesn't seem aggressive enough to play draws aggressively or maybe even overpairs, so should I have just folded on the flop?

Turn: ($4.35) 5 (2 players)
UTG bets $3, Hero folds

doesn't seem aggressive enough to raise his draws and he would have raised his bigger pairs pre, so we can rule out draws and bigger pairs from his range.

he limped, and raised your cbet, he has a set, 2 pair or a made straight almost always in this spot when he raises

Good fold on the turn but you gotta call yourself if you call his raise on the flop what's your plan on a blank turn like this (it doesn't change anything as he never plays a 3 like this OTF) and he's Gunna fire the flop so if your Gunna fold this turn just fold the flop and save yourself 80c

Alex :)

Hi,

I would have played the same way, passive players would usually not bluff, so I think you´re beat by set or some 56/A5 type hand

best regards,
