Hello. This forum is great.
I am sure did not play this hand well, though can 't find the real problem. While trying to avoid loose calls, many bad players go so far with mid pairs or top pair - bad kickers that i am confused.
In this case i didn 't think that villain had K when he bets the turn after so many checks before him. But then after my call he makes a small bet which i thought was for value.
So what do you think?

(BTN): $.83
Hero (SB): $2.12
(BB): $2.08
(UTG): $.96
(UTG+1): $3.11
(MP1): $1.87
(MP2): $1.04
(CO): $1.60

Pre-flop: Dealt to Hero 9♦ 9♥
(1 folds), UTG+1 calls $.02, MP1 calls $.02, MP2 raises to $.10, CO calls $.08, (1 folds), Hero calls $.09, (2 folds), MP1 calls $.08

Flop: ($.42) 3♥ 4♥ K♠ (4 Players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks

Turn: ($.42) 6♦ (4 Players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO bets $.20, Hero calls $.20, (2 folds)

River: ($.82) 3♦ (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $.34, (1 folds), CO returns $.34
CO Showed 7♦ 7♥
CO wins $.81

As long as the bet is less than half pot-size, I usually expect to see A6 or 77-99 here, maybe TT/JJ. I would thus call again on river.

On another note, however, I would fold turn as there is 2 players left behind me.

Hey Erevos,

Why do you call the turn?
Doesnt really make to call the turn and fold the river to a pretty much blank card. So if you call the turn you should plan to call such rivers. Rather fold the turn and avoid such spots.

Best regards,
