Postflop: if we call the 4-bet I'd at least call one street with 2nd pair on Kxx where a lot of guys will just blindly cbet anything.

This. Because of the sizing i called just to set mine. Do you think this is ok or is it better to call flop too

Considering the positions and the limit I think our hand is more than just a set mine.

I can't imagine villain just value-4betting there.

I get quite wary when i face small raises like his 4bet. And equally playing postflop in an inflated pot, especially considering there's an overcard to my hand when i perceive that villain probably has a decent amount of value hands in his range

It's SB vs CO in a 6 max game (which is inherently more aggro) so while he can have value there are quite a few potential weak hands in there.

This is true and in a 3bet pot i'm calling all day here but the fact it's a 4bet pot leads me to believe that his range is considerably smaller than the sb vs co dynamic is normally, so much so that even calling one is scary for me.

And what happens when i choose to call flop, do i check down to river and fold to further bets?

Would it be huge mistake to not 3b pre?
Yes we got pretty good hand, but what will happen if we got 4b? Villain unknown and we dont have dynamics to 5b-go broke. So we end up in a huge pot oop without initiative and deep.

I would expect a bit more honesty on the turn rather than the flop in such spots.

And calling just to set mine with such a strong hand seems a bit weak overall. JJ has SD value against what I suspect to be a wider range.

What do you expect to happen when you 3-bet in this spot? To get a call or to get 4-bet? I'd expect more calls. And do we really want to play a small pot oop with JJ if we just call?
