I played about 100 hands against the 2 players, the one who minraises me had VPIP/PFR of 16/9 and the caller had 9/4. I did not intend to raise so low (0.4), 0.8 would be better. I had too much action on other tables and possibly misclicked here. Anyway, the minraise + the calls from behind gave me the impression that the opponents had the nuts. The strange calls from an otherwise very tight player warned me of aces and I decided to fold here. However, it turned out to be a costly misinterpretation. my play was possibly too tight for any opponent (your opinions please), but I honestly wonder how someone who calls in such a spot with KJs have such a low VPIP value? Is 100 hands too low to make decisions about low VPIPs?

Well, 100 hands is a bit too low, maybe he had just a crappy run there.. But it gives you some advice, though.

If I doubted that AA was possible, I would just call that 3 bet. Then reconsider on the flop whether to continue or not. Other option is to go AI pre-flop (your opponent seemed to be eager to shove or call your shove).

And flop had been easy to play, though your opponent had sucked out there on later streets.

Hello farbwenz,

You have to 3bet it bigger there, no way to give them decent odds and afterwards I'd just get it in. They could easily have a lot worse hands. Plus of course he just min-raises which could indicate also weak hand.

Best Regards.
