I was wondering what could I have done better? I bet pot size on the flop to isolate.

Hey ramadas, I can give my oppinions as always, but wait for Gerv..

I guess I'd bet a little bigger preflop, like 5x the bb's because of limpers..

Well, why so big size on the flop? You only going to isolate against a better hands most of the time, I think..

Standard procedure is you only have a top pair, and the flop is dry.. If you see yourself ahead of utg+1, I'd bet like 3/4 for value, if you're unsure I'll just bet 1/2 as a cbet - because it's dry flop so no need to protect..

I would have folded.. I saw he had KT and your equity was better on the flop than his, and it's only a luck factor why he won..

Board: T♥6♠5♣
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    83.64%  83.03%   0.61% { AcTc }
MP3    16.36%  15.76%   0.61% { KsTs }

But still, stacking off with T as a top pair isn't good long term strategy I think.. Noted he was shaping to be a bad player (43/29) but that's through only 7 hands so no conclusion there based on stats really imo..

2 limper so 5bb open.
Flop I'll shove flop because villain's limp/call move.
This indicate that he would have worse Tx hand.
and as eXtremeACE says 1/2 CB will be prefered.

Yes I agree with Gonchan here, I would never bet/fold ATs here on the microlimits if people are limp/calling preflop

Best regards,
Gerv

Nice.. This is the reason I like replying to these forums. I can sometimes be totally wrong, then get right answer and at the same time improve my own reasoning in this particular spot.. :)

So, if we have a villain that limp/called, we can give our TPTK(and TPGK) a much bigger value than it general has, and even be willing to shove it against a aggressive limp/caller?
