I think I should have bet the flop bigger but besides that I think check fold the turn is only option.

On turn he still holding lot of weaker hands like 88-JJ, maybe KQ,AQ and want value from these hands. You should bet/fold on turn.

I would also say bet/fold flop, bet/fold turn. River can be played bet/fold, check/fold or even check/call, that depends very much on your image, the opponent, timing tells, etc.

The turn is actually not a horrible card, because even though it completes flushes, it also puts a paired board out there and you could easily have QQ. This should thus slow him down from bluffing you out often if you bet/fold again.

At the same time, the 3 means that there are a lot less sets in his range now.

He could still have there Qx hands as well in his range and not only flushes, therefore rather 2nd barrel and reevaluate the further actions accordingly.
