Since the BTN is calling a lot I wouldn't open 87o because you have no position on him.

I don't like your check/call on the flop. I would rather bet the flop or check/fold this. After his strong potbet on the flop he will fire a lot of 2nd barrels which you have to fold if you don't hit. You only have 6 clear outs, because the 6h and Jh aren't clear outs.

Preflop: Just fold the hand against that kind of BU.

As played
Postflop: I'd just fold it on flop or either CBet myself. Your play doesn't really make sense. With betting the flop you at least gain some fold equity but with Calling you will never know where you stand. Turn is standard with hitting the straight and I'd rather Check the river as well, he might have flushes or even better straights.
