Hi xero100,

Preflop: vs UTG you can fold this as well (check his raise first from that position, it should be tight for a 17% pfr)

Postflop: Given our lack of equity and bad turn card I'd give up there.

As played bet river smaller. Anything that can fold can fold for less.

The 3-barrel can't consistently and credibly represent many hands, except perhaps A :heart:2 :heart: and 44. Would you bet three times with a weak queen or a pocket pair?

What I'm really trying to say is that the A on the river shouldn't scare your opponent very much. There are few draws possible on the turn, so his turn call pretty much says he has made up his mind (or is a fish that hit his A OTR).
