Villain is pretty tight - stats show 9/2/2.9/14. Please evaluate:

Hi,

Hard to say, he's tight preflop but it's not impossible he simply overplays Kx postflop, which coupled with him possibly fastplaying draws could lead us to go broke in that spot (I wouldn't make such a huge raise tho, $2.5 is plenty).

If he's as tight postflop as he is preflop with his raises, best guess he's probably just setmining and you're dead against KK/88/33 when he takes a bet/3bet line into you on K83 2t.

Yup... he had pocket 88... I just need to learn to fold big pairs sometimes... grrrrrr...

It's just ussual suckouts, you will never know when somebody hits a set, and you won't allways fold ACES when somebody raise you anyway. Just don't tilt on such things, and next time you'll cach money for your favour.
