UTG folds, UTG1 calls $0.10, UTG2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, 3 folds, BU calls $0.50, 2 folds, UTG1 calls $0.40.

Flop: ($1.65) Q♥, 8♣, 2♥ (3 players)
UTG1 checks, Hero bets $1.20, BU raises to $2.40, UTG1 calls $2.40, Hero folds.

Should I have done check/fold on the flop?

I wouldn't cbet against two opponents here if I don't have an absolute position.

As played I wonder if it would be correct to call this raise after UTG call. The pot is around 7$ and you just have to pay 1,2$ with two overcards and some implieds. It may be worth it.

WORTHLESS. Fold.

Best case scenario is he is on a flush draw and raising to drive you out. You completely missed the flop and its not worth it. You can't count on the Ah or Kh to be any help to you here, reducing your overcard outs.

I think you should have check/fold the flop personally, without any reads.
