You can't call a river bet from villain so I think it is ok to fold here.

His bets are big and I agree we can fold.

rly guys you fold TPTK on a board like this - wet but nothing hitted so far. u guessing he call 20 and hitting a set. -i guess shoving might be not that bad - he could have FD Strdraw oder TPGK ...and we got decent equity ....

So my Quastion ...how bad might 3bet Ai T be in this spot??

....let villian call us with set obv FD and folding his straightdraw and midpairs+str8draw

If we only have 50bb i prefer the turn AI as well. I rarely see two potdonks from regs. Especially that he has only 50bb stack. He can do this with almost every hand. I have seen fishes doing this with TPs or second pairs, fds or striaghtdraws. So for me it is an easy push ott

Villain has some slowplayed overpairs, all sets and T8 are possible too. I doubt that he would donk with a draw. Imo pushing would be overplay and not good. I'm on my phone now so cant check with equilab.

i would probably say a fold, because of his river bet sizing

It is turn not river.
2 pot size donks is too much for our hand and we can fold.

BB is a half stack and I supose he is a recreational player. I would probably call the turn and probably fold the river, but maybe folding the turn would be a bit better. It's usually better to play safer on these limits.

MP3 53.74% 48.16% 5.57% JJ-TT, 88, 33, AdAh, AdAs, KdKh, KdKs, KdKc, QdQh, QdQs, QdQc, QhQc, ATs, KQs, KTs, QJs, JTs, T8s+, 98s, 87s, 76s, ATo

That is a very wide range for villain and we are still behind. I don't think villain will donk pot size OTF and OTT with TPTK, KT and JT are very far fetched, that range contains some gutshot only hands too.. If we trim this down to a more reasonable range our equity will drop down to 30% and below.

This is 888poker. Max stack size is 50bb in NL2 snap poker.

Yea it is. If I remember it has been so for quite some time. Correct me if I'm totally wrong. But here everyone seems to have around 50bb stack so I guess I'm right

I do not like calling 2 pot bets and folding river. It is more appropriate to fold the turn.

All NL2 tables are max50BB tables in 888poker, not only snap poker. :f_thumbsup: :f_drink:
I feel in general, it is very difficult to fold TPTK in certain situations. My move was to go all-in on turn.
So far it's been about 50/50 to be ahead/behind in these situations, so I was thinking what is correct line here, but maybe it is a little on grey area because stacksizes and limit?

This game is short-handed, medium stacked NL2 on a fast table on 888poker.
A six-handed NL Hold'm game costs 25bb/100hands on posted blinds.
A nine-handed NL Hold'm game costs 16.7bb/100hands on posted blinds.
The rake on NL2 is huge.
Playing with medium stacks means that speculative hands cannot benefit from big implied odds.
Fast tables carry a tell in them: anyone in middle or late position has a reasonable hand.

You cannot use BSS in medium stacked games.

PokerStrategy.com has some fine articels on MSS in NL Hold'm. MSS at Short-Handed Tables: Preflop.
The advise is to play tight and O/R bigger.

In the given hand Hero should have opened with 3bb.
On the flop the PSR is about 8.
Villain donks potsize. Which means he wants to build a big pot with his hand. Does Hero wants to play in a big pot with TPTK on a board with, for him, few redraws?
