I'm very new to short handed games is this situation just standard or could i have played it any differently?

Seems pretty standard to me, once that turn comes all the money is going in. Nice hand, just unlucky I think.

Hello jxb1977,

Against that kind of stealer I'd also 3bet there preflop and otherwise you could bet a bit bigger on flop to make it easier to shove on turn, but I'd also go broke there. Nothing much you can change.
