Hey,

open raiser is 33/13 over 30 hands so not real reads on positional raises or any other helpful reads.

SB is 34/15 over 93 hands, 0% 3bet and 25% (1/4) fold to 3bet preflop. went to showdown 32% and w$sd 34%.

Not sure whether the best line here is 3betting as we don't want to risk them folding or squeezing for value here?

Anyway, flop is pretty good for me after they call the 3bet so I feel i'm ahead against pretty much their whole range and can bet here.

Turn is a pretty ugly card for me; QK+ could be in their range, though i wouldn't except them to call 3bet and flop with QK I don't think.

So, turn - what is best here? Check to induce a bluff or bet again (and commit to pot)

As river comes K I think it's less likely they hold a Kx combination so I'm hoping that a shove might look weak and they can call with any of their pocket pairs and maybe A high as the board has paired twice?

Thoughts here?

Thanks!

Hey J,

I think given the amount you have left, betting the turn is better. They have almost no Kx in their range but there are cards that come that can scare you and them even more than one K, plus flushdraws and gutshots can get there. I don't see any benefit to checking with pot size bet left here. Value FTW.

Hey Jim4rdo,

Preflop squeeze for value is totally fine and likely the best option.

Flop cbet for value is good on this board.

Turn is awkward. Checking is fine. Betting 1/3rd pot is probably fine also since it's more harmful for you to give a free card multi-way and either opponent may still call with worse.

Think generally I would go for a small bet on river to get called by worse pocket pairs. It's true a large bet may look bluffy, but it also depends on whether they can actually hand-read to an extent.
