I actually think the river is a fold as played unless you expect him to be tilted already given your short term dynamic.

You generally are not seen calling that flop with nothing and once he checks turn he generally gives up... so what can he bluff or why would he bluff that river blank when your range is full of pairs and even Ax that can't be seen folding?

Would you bluff this river in his shoes?

I see your point, It's bad for him to bluff river because I still have overpairs,Jx or 2nd pair in my range after turn goes ck-ck. But what value hands do you see him having here to bet so big on the river? I expect him to follow with a turn bet,even a small one, in case he has Jx to try to get my stack by the river. But as a population read I don't expect people to ck/raise Jx on the flop. His play didn't make sense to me,that's why I called.

Agreed that his line doesn't add up a lot which may be a problem by itself (because when people don't make sense and they are not fish/tilted) they usually have it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see boats and some Jx there. All those can check turn.
