Hi,

I played this last night and marked the hand for review. I know I could have played it better but would like some "external imput" thanks.

Cassava Poker $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players - View hand 471900
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

BTN: $8.41
Hero (SB): $33.96
BB: $20.37
UTG: $3.50
UTG+1: $55.59
MP1: $16.70
MP2: $10.32
CO: $13.40

Pre Flop: ($0.30) Hero is SB with 8 :club: 8
5 folds, BTN calls $0.20, Hero raises to $1, BB calls $0.80, BTN calls $0.80

Decision was to flat call or raise and this time I went for the fairly standard raise looking to take it down there and then. Two callers was really 2 more than I wanted. OOP against a 21/4/41 (4,840 hands) reg in the bb and a 38/0/50 (* hands) unknown on the button.

Flop: ($3.00) 6 :spade: 8 :diamond: 3  (3 players)
Hero bets $1.60, BB calls $1.60, BTN calls $1.60

Happy days - I flop top set on a fairly dry looking board and put out an obvious c-bet of barely over half pot.

Turn: ($7.80) Q  (3 players)
Hero bets $5, BB folds, BTN calls $5

Now I see 2 hearts and decide enough is enough so bet out and get rid of the reg but the unknown stays.

River: ($17.80) K  (2 players)
Hero bets $1, BTN calls $0.81 all in

At this stage I am always puttin him all in for only .81c

Any thoughts would be appreciated - feel free to guess what he called all the way with!

Wow - thanks for the vote of confidence.

Just for the record villan had J  10

It was nasty at the time but looking back he had OESD (double gutshot which has the equivalent outs) and FD on the turn. I would probably have folded on the flop if the places were reversed but thats just me! I very rarely call a flop bet with a gutshot draw.

Cheers

I don't see him having a gutshot on the flop or a double-gutshot on the turn with JT :)
