BB: $23.80 (119 bb)
UTG: $10.08 (50.4 bb)
MP: $21.15 (105.7 bb) 58/34, AF 1,7, WTSD 38, hands 87.
CO: $20 (100 bb)
BTN: $20.77 (103.9 bb)
Hero (SB): $20.30 (101.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A A
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.60, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2, BB folds, MP calls $1.40

Flop: ($4.20) A 5 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.40, MP calls $2.40

Turn: ($9) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($9) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

What would be your line here? I don't necessarily like my line since villain seems somewhat fishy. Should we simply just bet-bet-bet or do something else? Top set sucks.. :P

Results:

Spoiler

$9 pot ($0.45 rake)
Final Board: A 5 7 5 Q
MP showed T T and lost (-$4.40 net)
Hero mucked A A and won $8.55 ($4.15 net)

against fishy i'm probably just going for the bet 3x because he's most likely not going to bet his stack off with most of his random holdings.
against regs i just check flop most of the time, though not in this specific texture i guess... then i'd play as you did

Hey Mesisification,

Preflop for value is fine.

Vs fishy opponent I would just bet all the way and hope to extract maximum value.
