BTN: $25.00 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 8, 3B: 0, AF: 1,0, Hands: 12
SB: $35.01 - VPIP: 19, PFR: 17, 3B: 15, AF: 11,0, Hands: 102
Hero (BB): $34.30 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 18, 3B: 7, AF: 4,3, Hands: 189058
UTG: $53.01 - VPIP: 57, PFR: 25, 3B: 5, AF: 2,0, Hands: 61
CO: $13.00 - VPIP: 43, PFR: 0, 3B: 0, AF: 0,5, Hands: 21

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BB with J :diamond: J
1 fold, CO checks, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, CO calls $1.25

Flop: ($2.60) 9 :club: J :spade: 2 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.23, CO calls $1.23

Turn: ($5.06) 3 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $2.40, CO calls $2.40

River: ($9.86) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $29.42, CO calls $8.12 all in

Flop: this might be too small bet. at the time i just wanted him to call with his weak hands cos that's majority of his holdings. top set blocks a lot of jx combinations. with bets around 2/3, 3/4 i don't think he would call me flop and turn w hands like 9x or worse like mid pp (thats assumption which might not be true since he is prob weak player). problems are sd, oesd, fd - too cheap price.

Turn: bet fine? what you do against shove? i would prob call. when he calls my hand is ahead vs his range

River: don't like checking. if i check he would bet 9x, and flushdraws w which he slowplays ( thats ok). he could bet w busted sd like qt, and hands like ajo w :club:, but there are jx he checks most of the time. i wanted him to bluffcatch w his jx which he checks back. thoughts? thanks

Hi,

I would bet slightly bigger on the flop, then naturally a bit bigger on the turn and it becomes easy decision to call a turn shove by him or shove the river if he calls. The reason to shove is to get value ofc, you cannot expect him to turn made hands into a bluff more often than he calls imo plus there aren't many hands that could be turned into a bluff either, apart from maybe some T8, QT, KT type hand combos.
