Preflop i think 1.25 sizing would be better. Just missed the SB complete in the heat of game.
The villain is a weak player, so i decided to chase my draw aggressively.
What do you think about river villains bet? I think A9,A8,A5 type of hands would check back. Any Jx hand would check also. It mostly looks like two pair or big pocket pair.
Can i find a call on river?
Thanks.

hearts busted, fishy player, good odds, snapping

not sure we are good 50% but we def are good ~30%, all in all he has some bluffs + fish make some rly weird "valuebets" sometimes.

Hi SpecialEdd

Preflop: definitely 1.25 at least with two limpers

Postflop: I think the turn bet has no point besides building the pot in case we hit. That turn gives us close to 0 FE especially for that size.

As played why not bet the river yourself at least that amount? Sure he has draws that missed too but he also has many pairs that can call (especially since you think he'll check back those a lot). But if you check and no reads I would call TP there as well.

I would bet 1.6$ on flop => 5.45$ on turn, I would bet 3.5$ => 12.45$ on river:

- if I hit the K or J, I will b/f 4.5$ to get a call from 9x, 8x, 77, maybe 66, Jx
- if I hit the flush or straight, I will b/c 8$

What do you think about this plan Bogdan? Should we just jam river if straight hits since the T makes a lot of 2 pairs for his range? What about flush?

Hi esowes

Bet sizes look fine but I would definitely not bluff a T on the river or many cards for that matter (I'm assuming you didn't think that we'd have a straight on the river on a T).

We should bet purely for value at that point.

Even if you bet bigger a river shove is a slight overbet so I would not ship unless the river is like a small heart where all his pairs/overpairs are the same.
