[Closed] NL5 - AA over pair, rainbow flop

Now then.. should I've played check/call turn and check/fold river or check/fold turn?
Or was calling the push the right thing? (I'm not very sure)

BB checks, Hero bets $0.20, MP3 folds, BU calls $0.20, BB folds.

Turn: ($0.90) T♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BU raises to $1.62 (All-In), Hero calls $1.12.

River: ($4.14) J♠

Final Pot: $4.14

Turn bet is good. There's a straight draw on the board, so you can't give free cards, but your minimizing the loss by betting slightly less than half the pot if you would be behind. I would fold the turn reraise though, because there aren't many hands that Villain could have that you can beat.


you have AA and opponent has less than half a stack ---> you play for stacks.
Bet more on flop and on turn and easy call to his all in.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice the low stack from Villain. Then I'd call, obviously :)

Hi Ohmu!

Bet more on the flop (~$0.30-$0.35) and even on the turn. Easy call if he pushes all-in.

perhaps you should bet more on the flop & turn... then you have an easy call when he goes all-in.
