SB posts SB $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has J♥ J♣

fold, fold, fold, MP raises to $0.15, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.32, 2 players) T♦ 8♥ 4♦
Hero checks, MP checks

Turn: ($0.32, 2 players) 8♦
Hero bets $0.20, MP calls $0.20

River: ($0.72, 2 players) 6♠
Hero bets $0.35, MP raises to $0.70, fold

I don't 3bet pre because villain's range is very strong. When he checks back the flop I assume I am ahead but I'm cautious that he might slowplay (no reads on this though).
The min raise on the river indicates strength to me and I doubt he does it with worse 2 pairs.

Hey Zukes,

Preflop call is fine.

Flop check is fine. I agree we are probably ahead.

Hence leading the turn is fine.

River bet is fine. Sizing is good, definitely doesn't want to be larger. Vs river raise it's generally a standard fold at these limits although it's true we get a great price.
