Should I have shut down on the turn instead and hoped to see the river for free? If the Villain does bet the turn then I guess it's an opportunity to just throw it in the muck as it was a dangerous board.

Not too sure about this one, I could have bet a little more each street perhaps. I laughed long and hard at the Villain after the check, check on the river though.

I've posted this hand too as I knew I'd played it terrible straight away. So, no need to tell me how many mistakes i made. It's here so I remember really. Soon as i just called the turn I knew I'd get myself into trouble, don't slow play. Let alone the check on the flop, uurgh just horrible.

1) It think you played quite well, nh.

2) I guess this hand is also ok, nh.

3) I think you should definitely c-bet the flop. As you played I might at least think about a reraise on the turn, because you have a top pair and a decent kicker and the secon nut flush draw, and no idea where your standing at.

1) I think betting turn is fine, since he´d fold his Ax hands and if he hit your flush or 9/J then you can bet or c/c river.
2) I would probably checked back turn, since you don´t always have here the best hand and you´re just building bigger pot.
3) I would bet flop for value, calling turn and river is fine
