as played if you complete this you just have to stack off, you're not going to hit a straight very often...

Why i should fold preflop? I have call just 3cents to hit flush, and stack any weak reg who have 2pair. Or I can make some decent value out of anyone who hit top pair in flop, or float with intention to take pot in turn.

But maybe you are right, 84s sucks. ♠_o:

well, so you understand what i mean

you call pre to hit a flush, and then when you hit it on QT9 board (which just allows for a whole lot of twopairs, pair+draw things and such) you want to fold it?

still i think it's interesting to give a bit of trivia - with random suited trash you only flop a flush like 1% of the time and a flushdraw like 11%
with random connectors (ie 87) it's basically the same odds to hit a straight or straight draw...

that's the beauty of suited connectors, you flop "something" like 1/4 of the time

Hello Tiltmeifucan,

Preflop: The problem with 84s is that you can't really hit that much nor any pair nor even if you hit your flush you will never-ever be sure how good you do with it cause a lot better flushes could be possible in such a multiway pot.

Postflop: He could as well even have sets there so I doubt that we getting away and especially you putting yourself into such a spot as calling preflop so assuming that you are also ahead when you hitting your hand.
