When villain donks you should raise. Raising flop to something like 13bb should be good imo. As played that 3x raise vs this player is ok.

Here the bet size doesn't matter. What matters is that on the flop you have a set, FD and SD possible, and Axx board - YOU RAISE!!!

Definitely raise flop. Don't try to make a little more money from the cases he has nothing when you have a strong hand. Play it fast, raise big and make a lot of money from the cases when he actually has something.

Guys before me said pretty right stuff. Definitely raise the flop, and then it's way easier to continue on turn. Against a turn raise, I would NEVER fold here - it's unlikely that he had JK there (unless it was hearts). If you are not ready to immediately play for stacks on that turn, just call it, as you have superb hand and still chances to improve to full-house here.
