was the call i made a bit reckless???

the raiser was a bit too loose plus there is dead money in the pot.

Hello bordzter,

calling such minraise with Q7s is pretty marginal as it's hard to play postflop. QJs/QTs would be much better, so I would prefer to simply fold Q7s preflop.

After the flop you have only OESD which is 8 outs and 8 outs are not enough to play it aggressively when you are not the preflop aggressor(this post flop should be played as though it was a freeplay). So, on the flop I would only c/c according to outs and odds.

As played, you have to call 3-bet on the flop as well as push on the turn because of the odds you get and the outs you have.

thanks for the advise, the only reason i played the hand is that these guys seem to be min raising every hand and very loose in calling such a wide range of hands judging from their stats.
