As played I can just get it in on the flop because he's committed but decided to just call to let him fire off another barrel later

Preflop: what's the reason behind the call? Were you afraid of 4-betting? And yes my default readless is 4-bet here.

Postflop: As played he pots it so he is super polarized. Thus just call and call turn.

Yes I am afraid to 4bet. Based on a few of these reviews recently I've started being less nervous w/ QQ pre vs a lot of action after plugging in the numbers in some spots. I think I don't expect AKo to be getting stacks in as often as is probably true like in that other QQ hand where I face similar decisions.

So you expect AKo to 3-bet/squeeze to 12+ BBs and then fold vs a 4-bet?

I can't see that being very realistic.
