At the risk of overworking things here: If you are horribly afraid of being bluffed out, then, as played, you can think about calling holding AA. It doesn't make much of a difference, but now you have the nut two pair. The important thing is that you do bluff catch some, but you don't do it with all of 88/99/TT/JJ/QQ/KK, which would turn you into a pay-off station.

Why raise? Villain will fold his air and continue with some draws, overpairs and sets. I doubt villain donks shit here. If and when he calls your raise you are fckd.

What if he is donking with 56,7h8h,99,TT,JJ,22,55,66. And when we raise there is still BTN to act. I doubt that villain will call your raise with A6 or K6 so by raising only hands that beat you will call. You will get some folds of course because villain might be donking those hands but in the long run raising here would be very expensive.

Well our hand is not that good to raise for value. it is not ok to throw away that equity and turn it into a bluff.

Generally, if you have 50%+ equity vs villain's range - you bet. If you have less - you check/call...
