PokerStars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 6 players
UTG: $1.92 (96 bb)
MP: $11.74 (587 bb)
CO: $2.08 (104 bb)
BU: $1.04 (52 bb)
SB: $2.14 (107 bb)
BB (Hero): $4.21 (211 bb)
Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with T♦ A♥
UTG raises to $0.06, 4 players fold, Hero calls $0.04
Flop: ($0.13) 6♦ 7♣ 3♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.07, Hero raises to $0.24, UTG calls $0.17
This flop favors my range way better than UTG range, so I opt in for a check raise, to get folds from Ax and Kx with no clubs that could improve on turn if I just flat. The goal of check raising here is to take down the pot or narrow UTG range.
Turn: ($0.61) A♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30
Turn comes an A, so we improve to top pair, but UTG has stronger Ax is his range, so I opt to check/call here, as I don't want to bet my self into a stronger Ax. After the call on flop, I put UTG on 88-KK, AJ+ with one club or AKo/AQo and some flash draws like KJs/KQs/K9s/QJs etc etc.
River: ($1.21) 8♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.32 (all-in), Hero calls $1.32
River is an 8 which again favors my range much more than it does for UTG. I Check and he Jams. I don't see him Jamming hands like AK/AQ for value here and he doesn't really have any 2pair combos in range, besides maybe A8 of clubs. I unblock all of his bluffs on the river, so I think this is an easy check/call?
Total pot: $3.85 (Rake: $0.13)
