BB: $10.51 - VPIP: 30, PFR: 23, 3B: 17, AF: 4,3, Hands: 84
UTG: $10.69 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 25, 3B: 0, AF: 2,0, Hands: 20
Hero (CO): $15.71 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 16, 3B: 5, AF: 3,0, Hands: 559
BTN: $10.00 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 8, 3B: 0, AF: 2,0, Hands: 102
SB: $9.14 - VPIP: 48, PFR: 24, 3B: 8, AF: 0,9, Hands: 42

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with 9 :club: A :club:
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.30, 1 fold, SB raises to $0.70, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.50) J :spade: A :diamond: 2 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($1.50) 6 :club: (2 players)
SB bets $0.20, Hero raises to $0.95, SB calls $0.75

River: ($3.40) 9 :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.20, SB folds

Obviously, we made 2 pair and are going to bet. The thing is, hes pretty capped to QQ/KK and I dont want him to fold. Thoughts on the sizing? He show-folded KK.
BTW I didnt even see I made the second pair :transpire:

1.20 is already pretty low so if he wants to fold you have to let him

I like it as played. You give his weaker pairs a chance to find a reason to call once more.

Well played imo. When villain bets so small OTT, we should treat it as a check so raising is ok.

I think this is not a clear CO open, especially vs those blinds. If SB would have 3bet bigger, it's a clear fold for me. Vs this size we can call, I guess. As played, I like how you played it postflop.

River size is fine. Turn raise is questionable, but it is okay to treat his small bet as a check.

You read him well, but he also read you well. That is not alone enough reason to rethink.

I think it is a very clear CO open. The SB looks like a very loose passive player. We want to play as much as we can against him. Against a normal SB 3bet we can certainly continue any AXs if he has 8% overall 3bet.
Against the BB it is probably auto profit to 4bet light from time to time, most 10%+ 3bet player just cant play back at 4bets oop.

I like the play too. Betsizing river is fine imo.
