Villain is 20/17 with 12% CC from BTN. Fold to cbet is 80%

I decided to 2-barrel since he will call with any mid PP or FD 2 streets.

Once the river pairs the King, can I hope he calls with any mid PP? Does it ever look like I may be bluffing here?

Hi there,

value betting is not just a matter of getting called by some worse hands, generally speaking you have to be ahead of villain's continuing range as a whole.

So, starting with flop. Let's that only BB calls pre flop (to make the exercise easier), do you think we have more than 50% equity when he does not fold. Probably not. And you don't need much protection, so you should be checking mostly in this situation.

Given the fact that you are against 2 players on the flop things get even worse for you, your equity is simply not good enough, it increases the odds of someone having a K, which is a hand that has you crushed. You think you are value betting but you are not winning enough times at showdown.

Turn is even more obvious, you are valuebetting against PPs and FDs without realizing you are not valueing at all.
