Should I go all in at the river?

I wouldnt mind shove OTR as well. 8x hands and maybe flushes are going to call but i dont like your overall postflop line. You are on a big hand against fishy player so you want to start build the pot from flop. Bet bet bet on every street and bet big

xr turn - players on this limit are too passiv, they dont triple barrel bluff enough and miss valuebets w/ trips on the river. in particular on this board a lot of river cards will kill your action.

as turn played, i think that your jam is too thin - xc is fine.

I would most likely Cbet the flop against a recreational for value and go for 3 streets.
If villain is passive it will be hard to get value with checking.

I generally wouldn't expect a recreational player to play aggressively and put money into the pot. Like SDK said too I prefer betting on each street and I'd be looking to set up the shove on the river. He can catch 8x and has hh and draws on the flop as well as overcards that can call a street or two.

On turn I think I prefer to x/r small. I want to get it in against 8x. Also you charge Jx and draws.
As how you played - raise on river is overplay. Even fish is capable of folding strong hands and board is super scary for straights or flushes. Given sizing on river he also has more Jx than 8x(8x may not bet that big).
