Just started playing again after a number of years away and found myself in a similar spot to this a couple of times already and finding myself afraid to continue

C-betting for value from T9, 87, any straight draws or any broadways he might float with. Fold to flop Cbet is 100% (tiny sample) so when he calls im assuming he has hit some part of flop and put him on top pair and straight draws 98 possible too but generally people be getting money in with top two at NL5 on flop from what i've seen.

When he checks turn im happy to fire again for value from 9s and higher straight draws but the check raise on turn from someone nitty then i feel like im beat by straights and slow played sets or top two. Am i ever winning money by continuing without any reads on opponent?
Am i thinking about this hand wrong? One of the things getting back into playing is remembering how to think so please correct me
